As much as we love thinking up some clever Easter egg hunt ideas, this year, we’re doing things a bit differently. Worry not, though; all of our options involve Easter eggs. From lawn games to bake-offs, we’ve thought of pretty much everything, so if you need some Easter-themed inspiration to get the party going this weekend, you’ve come to the right place.

What’s more, there are plenty of activities that everyone—kids and adults alike—will actually enjoy partaking in. Think an elegant wreath made entirely of Easter eggs, a bake-off with delicious treats featuring Easter eggs, and easy lawn games involving, you guessed it, Easter eggs. Hear us out: Easter egg hunt ideas don’t have to involve games, contests, or sugar rushes. Instead, they can be light-hearted activities that everyone—not just the little ones—can enjoy together. Our personal favorite? An Easter egg garland that you can display pretty much anywhere. Enlist the kids at the soirée to help tie it together and hang it wherever they see fit.

Trust us; these games, decorations, and sweets are so perfectly on-theme that you’ll wish you thought of them sooner. Luckily, you still have plenty of time to get ahead of your Easter party prep, so if you are dedicated to doing it all yourself, you don’t have to go into panic mode just yet. That said, some of these Easter egg hunt ideas will take some time, so we don’t recommend saving them for the last minute. So let these crafts be fun instead of stressful, and work on them whenever you’re in need of some relaxing DIY time. We promise you and your guests, big and small, will have loads of fun.

Another artistic DIY design that takes longer to create, this beautiful Easter-friendly wreath requires a few tools that any regular crafter likely has on hand, including crepe paper, tissue paper, scissors, and a hot glue gun. Once you've painted the paper mache eggs, just attach them to a wire wreath frame, and the rest is actually pretty easy!

Bake Something Sweet

Sprinkle Bakes

If the Easter egg hunt doesn't end with a sweet treat, it's not nearly as fun. Enter this Italian Easter bread by Heather Baird, baker extraordinaire. Before you slide the tasty roll (recipe here), into the oven, pop an uncooked egg in the hole. It will bake perfectly, according to Baird. Top the whole thing off with a dusting of rainbow sprinkles before serving it.
