This is the scene when Lizzie and Kathryn Fortunato, the twins behind the boho-chic Lizzie Fortunato fashion and home accessories line, throw a laid-back dinner party inspired by a trip to Sayulita, Mexico. "We like to crowd a large table with colorful and meaningful collections, but each piece should have a story behind it," says the duo.
Mixing hues that don't usually go together, like pink and red, feels playful. Warm metals lend a touch of glamour and complement all the neutrals. Tassels provide texture and double as party favors.
"We buy up textiles on our travels to use as runners and throws," the twins say. "Toss them over chairs with pillows to add softness to the table, and make your guests feel right at home."
