Alex Mason, the artist behind the ladylike textiles of Ferrick Mason, sets a dreamy brunch scene on her parents' Kentucky horse farm. "I love to eat outside and set a beautiful table," she says. "Yes, flowers and real tableware are a must, even for alfresco dining!"

Logs from fallen trees form the chair backs. The tablecloth, napkins and cushions are made with fabrics from Ferrick Mason's new collection.

"These feel solid, like china but unbreakable," Mason says of the melanine plates. As for the copper flatware, "Copper seems more casual than silver, and it picks up the pops of coral in the tablecloth."
