10 Larger-Than-Life Wedding Bouquets That Are Anything But Ordinary
Because you can never have too many gorgeous flowers, right?
When Carmel Vandale of Mt. Lebanon Floral in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, started posting enormous bridal bouquets on Instagram, her followers asked her what they were called. The consensus built around "monster bouquets," Vandale tells Cosmopolitan.
"You can only see so many of the Martha roundy-moundies. You can only do it so many ways," Vandale says of why she started building bigger and bigger bouquets. "It's an option for people who want to do something that's not been done. It does take a daring type of bride."
The arrangements run anywhere from $200 to $350 and can weigh up to 10 pounds.
"From a photographer's perspective, they're amazing," Varos says. "They bring an entirely new element to every photo that they're in. The standard bouquets are nice and pretty but there's something really magical about those overpowering bouquets with large branches and leaves coming out of them."
