Get ready to witness some expert reno magic! Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent’s new HGTV series, The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project—where they give family homes epic and meaningful makeovers—premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET.

The six-episode docuseries follows the designers and married dads of two as they renovate family homes in and around New York City. The duo helps their clients determine which sentimental pieces to keep, repurpose, donate, or toss. Once they’ve gotten to the core of the family’s possessions, they renovate the home and reincorporate those pieces into it to portray the family’s personal style in a more thoughtful, updated way.

In the first episode, Berkus and Brent tackle the Queens-based family home of two sisters. Their goal? To keep the charm and childhood memories of the home alive—like the clients’ mother’s 1945 Steinway grand piano—while giving the mid-century property much-needed upgrades: an open floor plan, a new color palette, and a contemporary look.

Viewers will get plenty of before-and-after home content, but they’ll also get a glimpse into Berkus and Brent’s family life in the West Village, too. “The series is a love story,” Brent tells House Beautiful. He continues: “It’s about our family, which doesn’t necessarily look like every other family. It's about us having the opportunity to experience a deeply personal period with these homeowners—who all have different stories and all universally want to live better—to really understand who they are through their things and start to care about them as people.”

Produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment, each episode of the series will be available to stream on discovery+ and HGTV GO the same day it airs. Mark your calendars for the next few Tuesday nights, because this show will have you hooked immediately.
