Priyanka Chopra just shared a quick glimpse at what looks to be her newborn baby's nursery, which is a) extremely precious, and b) full of cute stuffed animals. This was also kinda a scroll-and-you-miss-it moment because Priyanka included the photo right in the middle of a casual dump of recent pics, including selfies, a snap of her and Nick Jonas' dogs, and some fancy fries.
Priyanka and Nick announced last month that they'd welcomed a baby via surrogate, and have been pretty low-key since (meaning they haven't given other info or dropped any photos). At the time, the couple made it clear they wanted privacy saying “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
Priyanka previously (and v. cryptically) spoke about her and Nick's plans to start a family in Vanity Fair’s February 2022 issue, saying “They’re a big part of our desire for the future. By God’s grace, when it happens, it happens.” She also added that she and Nick, who both have super successful careers and work a ton, are “okay with” slowing down when they have a child.
A few months before that Priyanka joked about her and Nick being the only Jonas couple not to have kids yet during the Jonas Brothers Family Roast, saying “We’re the only couple who doesn’t have kids. Which is why I’m excited to make this announcement. Nick and I are expecting….To have fun tonight and sleep in tomorrow!” (Obviously they knew they were expecting at the time, which explains Nick's absolutely shocked reaction!)
