HelloGiggles may be known for its upbeat and cheerful content, but when the team first moved into their new offices, the space did little to reflect that. So Homepolish's West Coast Creative Director, Orlando Soria stepped in to help create the space of their dreams. And to celebrate the makeover, AllModern is hosting a HelloGiggles by Homepolish Office Makeover Sale, where you can buy the items featured in HelloGiggles's new office.
Soria said he took cues from the team members's personalities and tried to infuse that energy into the space, while still giving them a functional work area. "The ladies (and one man) of HelloGiggles are all chill people I can totally see myself being friends with, so working with them was more like a conversation with a friend than a typical client/designer relationship. They wanted an office that had a really welcoming, happy vibe but also functioned practically for them. So I tried to strike a balance between being quirky and interesting (like the company's co-founder Zooey Deschanel) and making sure they had everything they needed to work efficiently. Make no mistake, The Hello Gigglers have fun at work, but they also work hard, so they needed a super practical space as well as one that represents their playful brand."
To achieve a look that mirrored the positive, happy spirit of HelloGiggles, Soria chose pieces with color and life that were still office appropriate, like the yellow Sauder bookcases, the eye-catching turquoise rug and the sleek, modern sofa. After seeing the office post-makeover, the team at HelloGiggles couldn't be happier, according to COO Radhika Delfosse. "It wasn't as much a makeover as a coming to life of the HG brand in a new physical space. Since it's our first office this was the first time we'd thought about what our environment should look like," she said. "We are so pleased with the results, the colors, the light and the vibrancy of the space!"
